Holistic health since 1998

Holistic Health Concept

Medicine. Psychology. Wisdom.

  • Health as a dynamic process
  • Focusing on the whole person
  • Tradition in dialogue with science
  • Individual approaches rather than rigid systems

Good medicine treats illnesses.

Holistic medicine supports people.

HOLISTIC HEALTH CONCEPT

Medicine

What happens inside the body – and what does it need in order to optimise its regulation, function and health?

Psychology

How do we experience, feel and act – and how do these lead to good health, stress or change?

Wisdom

What do we base our lives on – and how do we remain connected and able to act, even in difficult circumstances?

A person is more than the sum of these three perspectives.

Health cannot be understood from just one perspective. Physical processes, psychological experiences, personal relationships, lifestyle, the environment and one’s inner state constantly influence one another.

What causes a person stress, or what strengthens them or helps them to recover, therefore does not usually arise in just one place. Our Holistic Health Concept combines medicine, psychology and wisdom traditions to form an integrative understanding of health.

The focus is not on individual symptoms, methods or systems, but on the person in their individual physical, psychological and existential reality.

Since 1998, this philosophy has formed the foundation of our work at EURASIAMED. Health is more than just the absence of illness. It is a dynamic process of regulation, development and interconnectedness.

Modern medicine offers impressive capabilities for detecting illnesses, measuring bodily functions and providing targeted treatment. Nevertheless, many people find that test results, symptoms and how they actually feel do not always fully correspond.

Complex symptoms often arise from the interplay of several factors. Biological processes can be influenced by lifestyle habits, stress, relationships, internal conflicts or difficult living conditions. At the same time, physical illnesses have an impact on mood, thinking, behaviour and quality of life.

Holistic health means recognising the interconnections that are truly significant in a person’s individual life.

Not everything is connected to everything else.

But good health rarely arises in isolation.

Salutogenesis

Health is not a state

Health is not a stable state, nor is illness simply its opposite. Throughout their lives, every person moves along a dynamic continuum between stress and recovery, stability and vulnerability, health and illness.

It is therefore not just a question of what the diagnosis is. Equally important is what resources are available, what helps with regulation, and what next steps are possible and appropriate in the individual’s life.

SALUTOGENESIS – HOW HEALTH IS CREATED

Founder of EURASIAMED

From the Holistic Health Concept to LONGEVITAL

The Holistic Health Concept has formed the foundation of our work since 1998.

Over many years, his combination of medicine, psychology and wisdom teachings gave rise to a further question:

How can people live not only healthier and longer lives, but also lives that are more vibrant, connected and meaningful?

Our response to this is LONGEVITAL – EURASIAMED’s Holistic Longevity Concept.

Every person is unique.

That is why health can never be standardised.
