Panchakarma therapy in five lessons

Your training at a glance

Seminar leader: Ralph Steuernagel | Guest lecturer: Dr Shubhangee Satam

The importance of Panchakarma for Ayurveda cannot be overemphasised. It is not so much about whether we open a spa centre - but about the deep, unique understanding of Ayurvedic medicine. Milieu theory and humoral therapy.

This specialised module is aimed at all Ayurveda Professionals with knowledge of the basics of Ayurveda medicine, nutritional science (Ahara), behavioural medicine (Vihara), substance science (Dravyaguna) and medication (Aushadha).

We speak there a Ayurvedic medical terminology and focus on the future integration of detoxification procedures into your own practice or spa centre.

Your nutritional counselling, prescription, manual or psychotherapy will also change after this course and will be much more systemic, structured and effective.

If you have completed your previous training at an external educational institution, please ask in advance about possible recognition as an external learning achievement.

Panchakarma experimental workshop

Learning through self-awareness

An essential pillar for understanding Ayurvedic concepts is perception with all five senses, especially of one's own body.

This is why we recommend that you try out as many of the contents learnt in this Panchakarma intensive training course as possible on an outpatient basis - from Snehana and Svedana to Shodhana and Rasayana.

You will receive detailed instructions after each lesson. In the post-meetings, we will then discuss the self-experiences analytically.

Panchakarma: Detox in 10 days?

In Ayurveda, spring is considered the best season for „Shodhana“ - the release of harmful residues that shift our body's environment in an unphysiological way.

The supreme discipline of all cleansing measures is „Panchakarma“: five purging procedures that were described in detail and carried out 2,000 years ago in northern India.

Every detox must be professionally prepared, carried out and followed up. For this we need time, peace and strength - because Panchakarma is initially stressful for body and mind.

How much time should we plan for an effective, authentic Panchakarma cure? Are the 10 or 14 days often offered sufficient to achieve a lasting cure effect?
