A synthesis of natural medicine and spirituality

According to the Tibetan view, the cause of all illnesses lies in people's fundamental ignorance. Ignorance describes a state of mind that does not understand the nature of phenomena and their interrelationships and also considers unreal (impermanent) things to be truly existent and real.

Ignorance accompanies us like our own shadow. Since time immemorial, people have carried the root cause of illness within them, even if they believe they are healthy.

Mental toxins as the true cause of illness

Ignorance leads to attachment and aversion as well as mental confusion in the world of duality, which result in mental poisons such as pride, jealousy, greed, stupidity and hatred and form up to 84,000 false beliefs.

These mental toxins in turn cause errors in dietary behaviour and lifestyle, which lead to disturbances in the balance of bodily fluids and thus cause illness in the long term. Tibetan medicine is characterised by impressive clarity.

Holistic healing in Tibetan medicine

Healing can only be achieved through the Dharma (Buddhist teaching), recognising the four noble truths and following the eightfold path of right living, from which Tibetan medicine also springs.

The eight groups of treatment methods include: Buddhist living | Right behaviour | Right diet | Herbal remedies | Massages and water treatments | Minor surgery (moxa, acupuncture, bloodletting, cupping) | Meditation | Spiritual therapy.

At EURASIAMED, Tibetan medicine is incorporated into every holistic diagnosis.
We recommend colleagues from our network to carry out special therapies.
