In January 2000, I was the only therapist from the DACH region to take part in the Advanced Training for Ayurveda Bhishak (Ayurveda doctor) in Rishikesh. This certificate course has been formative to this day.
My teachers, including P.V. Sharma, N.C. Sharma, R.H. Singh, P.V. Tewari and K.C. Chunekar, authorised me to teach Ayurveda medicine in the West while I was still there. This is where our current training programme originated.

Ayurveda medicine for health professionals
Our training for AYUMED® Ayurveda Medical Consultant is aimed at Therapists in their own practice or healthcare facility and Candidate therapeutic health professions.
These include doctors, alternative practitioners, psychotherapists, pharmacists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing professions, medical-technical professions and medical assistant professions.
Career changer, For example, people from social or educational professions can also take part by prior arrangement if they have basic medical knowledge or are acquiring it.
Basic medical terminology is required as well as a basic knowledge of English in order to be able to understand our Indian lecturer (will be translated) as well as possible.
