Ageing with a Purpose

Training in Holistic Longevity Medicine & Psychology

The most important question is not how long we live.

But rather, how we live as we get older.

Holistic Longevity Concept

From anti-ageing to longevity to LONGEVITAL.
The evolution of a new understanding of healthy ageing.

The story behind our vision…

Holistic Longevity Coach

Rethinking health. Providing holistic support for people.

Become part of our movement

We still live in an anti-ageing society, where ageing is often seen as a loss and something to be fought against. We would like to change this perspective.

The renowned futurologist Matthias Horx speaks of a vision of a society that thrives on the „revaluation and rediscovery of the wisdom of age“.

In an age of AI and social media, the ability to identify what is essential and make wise decisions is becoming one of the most important skills of the future.

Ayurveda meets Longevity

The world’s oldest teachings on longevity meet modern science

Long before the term Longevity Even at the time of its origins, Ayurveda was already addressing the same fundamental questions:

  • How can we stay healthy for as long as possible?

  • How can we age with dignity?

  • How can we promote vitality, resilience and a zest for life well into old age?

With its history stretching back over 2,000 years, The Rasayana Concept Ayurveda is regarded as one of the oldest systematic teachings on longevity in human history.

Our Holistic Longevity Concept draws on this valuable knowledge and combines it with insights from modern medicine, psychology and the latest research into longevity.

This is a deliberate decision not a traditional Ayurvedic training programme. Rather, Ayurvedic ways of thinking and principles run through almost all the modules – supplemented by scientific findings, modern preventive medicine and psychological concepts.

The result is a training programme that combines tradition with the future.

Anyone who understands Ayurveda will quickly realise that,

that Holistic Longevity is its contemporary

further development for the 21st century.

Health starts on your plate. And it doesn’t end with your diet.

Diet is one of the most effective ways to ensure a healthy, energetic and long life. But is there actually such a thing as the one A diet for longevity?

Together, we analyse traditional dietary traditions such as Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the dietary habits of the Blue Zones, as well as the latest findings in nutritional medicine and ageing research. Seminar excerpt from the last year
Living in harmony with nature is one of the most important keys to healthy ageing.

Healthy sleep is much more than just rest. It influences almost all of our body’s biological processes – from cell regeneration and metabolism to immune function, hormonal balance and mental health. Chronic sleep disorders are now among the most significant, yet at the same time most frequently underestimated, risk factors for healthy ageing.

Together with the sleep researcher and psychotherapist Dr Carolin Marx-Dick We will explore the scientific principles behind restful sleep and learn how our internal clock is influenced by light, exercise, diet and lifestyle. In addition, we will examine the biological rhythms of the day, the seasons and the stages of life from the perspective of Western chronobiology, as well as from the perspectives of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The skin tells stories. If you understand it, you understand the person.

The skin is far more than just our outer layer. It reflects biological ageing processes, is an expression of our lifestyle and, at the same time, a vital organ for health, identity and how we are perceived by others.

Hardly any other organ reveals healthy or premature ageing as clearly as our skin. That is why skin health is now one of the most important topics in modern longevity medicine.

In this module, you will learn to view skin health not in isolation, but from a holistic perspective. You will understand the biological mechanisms of skin ageing, as well as the influence of diet, the microbiome, hormones, inflammatory processes, UV exposure, sleep, stress and lifestyle on skin health.

Together with Corina, you’ll develop a scientifically grounded understanding of modern skin longevity and learn how to provide expert guidance to people – moving beyond short-term beauty promises and current lifestyle trends. Rather than merely masking symptoms, you’ll address the causes of biological skin ageing and develop sustainable strategies for a healthy, natural and authentic appearance.

Two levels. One shared idea.

How identity and living environments have a lasting impact on our health, our wellbeing and our lives.

Personal Identity Design refers to the conscious shaping of one’s appearance, behaviour and personal symbolism in harmony with one’s identity, values and stage of life. Together with the spaces we inhabit, this creates an external environment that influences our thoughts, feelings and actions, as well as our health and well-being.

Health is not solely a result of diet, exercise or medical care. It also develops through our relationship with ourselves, with other people and with the environment that surrounds us every day. Our clothing, our demeanour and the spaces in which we live and work shape our experience just as much as the way in which others perceive us.

In this module, you will learn how Personal Identity Design and salutogenic environments can become powerful resources for health, self-efficacy and personal development. Together with Corina, you will develop a deep understanding of how inner attitude and outer expression can be combined to form an authentic and harmonious personality.

In addition, we take a brief look at traditional Asian design concepts such as Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra. They demonstrate that the conscious design of living spaces that promote good health has been an integral part of Eastern health teachings for thousands of years and can still provide valuable inspiration for modern healthy living today.

Hormones don’t just control our bodies. They shape our lives.

Hormones influence virtually all biological processes in the human body – from energy, sleep and metabolism, through to mood, stress resilience and sexuality, right through to the skin, muscles and healthy ageing.

As we get older, the finely balanced interplay of hormones changes. The challenge, however, is not to optimise individual laboratory test results, but to understand hormonal changes holistically and to manage them responsibly.

In this module, you will gain a comprehensive overview of the most important human endocrine systems, modern diagnostic methods and therapeutic approaches currently under scientific debate. Together with experienced experts, you will learn about the benefits and limitations of bioidentical hormones, as well as the importance of lifestyle, nutrition, phytotherapy and interdisciplinary collaboration.

This will enable you to develop the skills to provide expert advice to people experiencing hormonal changes and, where necessary, refer them to the appropriate medical specialists.

Seminar excerpt from the last year
A long life only becomes meaningful when we know what we are living for.

Healthy ageing means far more than simply maintaining physical functions. As the years go by, our values, relationships, roles and priorities also change – and with them, the questions we ask ourselves about our lives.

The key question in a Holistic Longevity Concept is therefore not just:

How can we live longer?

Rather:

What do we want to live for – and what makes life worth living for us?

Purpose gives our lives direction. Mental health gives us the psychological resilience to remain connected even in the face of uncertainty, pain and change. Wisdom helps us not only to endure impermanence, but to accept it as an essential part of a conscious and fulfilling life.

In this most personal and profound module of the training programme, we combine modern psychology and neurobiology with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Japanese Morita therapy and the wisdom traditions of the East and West.

Together, we explore what gives people a sense of inner direction, a sense of connection and resilience – and how, despite the inevitable upheavals, losses and transitions, we can continually reconnect with life.

Corina introduces you to the multifaceted world of ikigai: not as a simplified model for success, but as a living experience of purpose, fulfilment, personal growth and the value of life. Concepts such as Mono no Aware, Kintsugi, Imakoko and Ichigo Ichie offer a new perspective on imperfection, the here and now, and the beauty of transience.

Another key focus of the module is the Ayurvedic understanding of mental health. The Bhagavad Gita, classical yoga philosophy and Ayurveda all describe a timeless model of states of human consciousness through the Triguna – Sattva, Rajas and Tamas.

Together, we will explore how inner clarity, restlessness and inertia shape the way we think, feel and act – and how Sattva, as an expression of serenity, compassion, wisdom and inner balance, can be deliberately cultivated. This creates a fascinating link between traditional Indian psychology and modern concepts of mental health.

This module is the embodiment of AGING WITH A PURPOSE. It invites you not only to reflect on a long life, but also to develop your own personal understanding of a vibrant, connected and meaningful life.

Seminar excerpt from the last year
From vision to impact: How to bring Holistic Longevity to the world.

Over the past twelve months, you have built up your knowledge, gained new perspectives and developed personally. Now comes what is perhaps the most important step: applying what you have learnt to your own life and your future professional practice.

In this final face-to-face seminar, we will bring together all the content from the training programme and support you as you develop your own individual path as a Holistic Longevity Coach. The aim is not to follow a predefined model for success, but to build a career that suits your personality, your values and your skills.

Together with our guest lecturer, Prof. Dr Dietmar Grichnik (University of St Gallen), we will take an inspiring look at modern entrepreneurship in the age of longevity. You will learn why health, entrepreneurial thinking and lifelong learning will be inextricably linked in the future, and why experienced people in particular are ideally placed to succeed in the longevity sector. His research combines entrepreneurship, healthy lifespan and personal self-efficacy to offer a completely new perspective on career development.

This module does not focus on the question of how you can achieve success as quickly as possible.

But the far more important question is:

How would you like to use your knowledge to make a lasting contribution to other people?

The people behind Holistic Longevity

For us, Holistic Longevity is far more than just a professional focus – it has been our shared passion for over 25 years.
We believe that healthy ageing is not about how old we get, but about how we want to live as we grow older.
It was this conviction that gave rise to our Holistic Longevity Concept – and the desire to work with you to shape a new culture of healthy ageing: scientifically grounded, deeply human and underpinned by our philosophy of AGING WITH PURPOSE.

What we stand for

Our approach to healthy ageing

AGING WITH PURPOSE rather than anti-ageing

For us, healthy ageing does not mean looking young for as long as possible or fighting the natural ageing process. Age is not a flaw of nature, but an expression of a life well lived.

We want to support people in taking a proactive approach to their health, so that they can live their lives with greater purpose, joy and inner freedom. After all, health is never an end in itself – it lays the foundation for a fulfilling life.

Medicine. Psychology. Wisdom.

Health does not arise from medical knowledge alone. Psychological factors, personal development and the experiences that people have accumulated over thousands of years are just as important.

That is why we combine modern medicine with psychology and the wisdom traditions of various cultures to form a shared understanding of what it means to be human.

Tradition meets modern science

We believe neither in romantic tradition nor in blind faith in technology. Both fall short.

Our approach combines the findings of modern longevity research with tried-and-tested health philosophies such as Ayurveda and other traditional medical systems and life sciences – in an evidence-based, critical and practical manner.

Developed from 30 years of practical experience

Our Holistic Longevity Concept was not conceived on the drawing board. It evolved over many years through our day-to-day work with people – in medicine, coaching, psychology and preventative care.

This experience makes the training particularly practical. Theory only becomes valuable when it genuinely helps people in their everyday lives.

Holistic Longevity starts with the ‘why’

The most important question is not: Which method is the most recent?

The most important question is: Why do I want to grow old in good health?

Those who know their personal ‘why’ make more sustainable decisions, feel more motivated and develop a deeper connection with themselves.

A fuller life. Not just more years.

Longevity is not an end in itself.

Our aim is not merely to extend our years, but to fill them with health, vitality, joy and purpose.

After all, quality of life is more important than life expectancy alone.

Personal development is part of training

Holistic Longevity cannot be learnt from books alone.

If you want to support other people, you always have to start with yourself.

That is why we see our training not only as a means of imparting knowledge, but also as a path to personal development.

People are more important than any biomarker

Diagnostics, laboratory test results and wearables provide valuable information.

However, they can never replace a person’s own personal experience.

That is why we regard measured values as a guide – not as the focus of our actions.

People always come before technology.

Healthy longevity is a human right

Healthy ageing must not be a matter of income.

Our aim is to make longevity understandable, practical and accessible to as many people as possible.

Health should bring people together – not exclude them.

We are shaping the future of healthy ageing

The world needs people who are rethinking healthcare.

People who combine medicine with humanity. Science with wisdom. Prevention with purpose.

Through our training programme, we aim to support precisely these people – so that knowledge can be transformed into a mindset. And so that this mindset can give rise to a new culture of healthy ageing.

Our team of experts

Holistic Longevity arises from interdisciplinary exchange.
That is why our training programme is supported by selected experts from the fields of medicine, psychology and prevention.
This creates a dynamic learning environment in which different perspectives come together to form a holistic understanding.

Surrounded by the Demeter agriculture of the organic farm, we enjoy the view of the marvellous Rhön. You will stay in individually designed tree species rooms with high-quality natural materials.

Certification

EURASIAMED® Holistic Longevity Coach

Our certification not only confirms the successful completion of the training programme, but also the acquisition of practical skills required to provide responsible support to people in the field of holistic longevity.

The online final examination comprises a written, an oral and a practical component. You will receive all the organisational information, as well as targeted learning aids and preparation materials, during the course of the training.

If you wish to opt out of the final exam, you will, of course, receive a Certificate of Attendance about the one-year training course you have completed.

Comments on the course

Your most frequently asked questions

How much time should I plan each week?

It all depends on how in-depth you want to go. We recommend scheduling at least 5 hours per week to be able to repeat and deepen all course content.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, your self-experience in our experimental workshop is very important. Every month you will be given suggestions for experiencing what you have learnt on your own body and practising with test subjects.

Of course, we hope to inspire you so much with our topics that you will want to spend every free hour on them. Well ageing is not Labour, but The joy of life.

Do I have to take the final exam?

No, but we recommend it - especially if you want to work with it professionally in the future and accompany people.

Some people, especially older prospective students, have unjustified fears about exams. If a qualification is important to you, face up to it - we can help you with 28 years of experience as a training provider.

Feel free, however, to decide during the course whether you would like to sit the exam. The registration deadline does not end until the final module.

How does the final exam work?

Our certificate of completion is proof of your competence, which is assessed through your written and oral examinations 12–15 weeks after the final module, taken online.

The written part consists of 24 questions, half of which are multiple-choice and the other half open-ended. The oral part involves a 30-minute coaching session as part of a Holistic Longevity consultation, as you have learnt to conduct.

Written counts for two, oral for one third. You have successfully passed from 75%. The examination fee including preparation and certification is € 250.00 plus VAT.

Which age group are you targeting with this training programme?

Above all, mature people with a certain amount of life experience - starting from around 40 years of age, there is no upper limit. The training is also a great opportunity for people over 60 who want to dedicate themselves to a new task and be a role model for their future clients.

Younger participants are of course just as welcome as private individuals, but should talk to us before registering to discuss their realistic prospects as a professional. We want the knowledge acquired to be successfully put into practice.

Which occupational groups are permitted to work as HLCs?

Well Aging & Healthy Longevity concerns us All and can therefore be integrated into many professional activities. Some examples are

  • Preventive and therapeutic healthcare professions
  • Social and educational professions
  • Counselling professions, coaching, training, mentoring
  • Sport, fitness, wellness, cosmetics
  • Online business (services and sales)
  • Artistic professions and activities related to nature
  • Tourism, catering, hotel industry
  • Industry and trade

If your profession is not listed and you are looking for guidance, please contact us personally.

In Germany, there are no legal restrictions on preventive work as a Longevity Health Coach. If you would like to work therapeutically and treat illnesses, you must have the status of a doctor or alternative practitioner.

What prior knowledge do I need?

Basically none, as you will receive everything you need to know from us. Of course, you will understand medical or psychological issues more quickly if you have the relevant basic knowledge.

However, we are not training geriatricians or geriatric psychologists here, but people who, with their holistic knowledge, will become valuable advisors on healthy and happy ageing.

Do I need technical knowledge to participate?

Basic knowledge is all you need: All you need is an internet-enabled computer with a webcam and microphone. We will provide you with detailed step-by-step instructions, which have already been mastered by over-80s.

See this as an opportunity to familiarise yourself a little more with digital developments. You will also give this recommendation to your clients in future, as participation in social life depends on it to a large extent.

Of course, we also address the topics of AI and social media in a sensible and measured context. Feel completely free to decide whether and how you would like to integrate these in the future.

How long do I have access to all course content?

The price includes your 15-month access to our tried-and-tested LMS (Learning Management System) until 31/12/2017.

This is your cockpit during the entire training and you will find all recordings, add-on videos, scripta, exercises for self-awareness, literature recommendations and links to interesting websites and important tools.

After 31.12.27 you also have the option of a three-month extension at the cost price of €50.

What happens if I am unable to attend an appointment?

This is no problem at all, as we record all online teaching units and meetings and upload them directly to the LMS the following day. This means you can easily catch up on missed content and repeat it as your time allows.

Of course, we recommend being present at as many live events as possible - to experience the present moment together, exchange ideas, inspire each other and learn from each other.

To obtain the certified qualification as a Longevity Health Coach, an online live attendance rate of 75% is required, as well as attendance at the practical modules on site.

If you are unable to attend one of the face-to-face seminars, you can make it up in the next intake, subject to availability. Please speak to us in person if you need to.

How can I earn money successfully as an HLC?

There are many options here, which depend on a) your current resources and b) your specific business idea.

We have already outlined eight potential sources of income and three ways to put them into practice as a business venture above.

If you can't identify with any of the above examples, please get in touch with us for a personal discussion about your prospects.

How can I continue my education after my training?

We particularly love this question! Because it shows that you have a feel for the depth and complexity of the topic.

During this training year, we can lay a solid foundation. You’ll build up a toolkit of methods that you can use to help many people – and, of course, yourself.

From 2028, you will then have the opportunity to work as part of our Advanced Trainings deepen individual topics and acquire new counselling and coaching skills.

Holistic Longevity means lifelong learning and growth.

Are you building a network or a community?

We would like that very much. It depends on your personal commitment and involvement. During the training programme, we will stay in touch online between modules via a closed group. And hope that the contact will continue afterwards.

In future, we would like to use our website to inform the public, present our graduates and their fields of activity and provide links to them. We are also working with our team of experts on quality management so that our participants can clearly distinguish themselves from dubious providers.

More than just an apprenticeship

Many participants come for the content.

Many stay because of the people.

During a year spent training together, you’ll meet people,

who share similar values and wish to take a holistic new approach to health.

We can’t plan friendships.

We cannot guarantee partnerships.

But we are creating a framework in which both can flourish.
