Ayurveda diagnostics

  • Ayurvedic anamnesis
  • Body examination - pulse, tongue, face .....
  • Ayurvedic case conceptualisation
  • Ayurvedic diagnostic second opinion

Who am I: Vata, Pitta or Kapha?
Two thirds of all clients ask this question after their first consultation. This is understandable, as Ayurveda has become known to the public primarily as a constitutional model. Many people therefore think that the „constitution type“ is determined and a plan is drawn up on this basis.

Unfortunately, this is insufficient and in most cases even wrong and dangerous. We first analyse your current state of health, which in many cases deviates from your constitution at birth (Vikriti) and is characterised by diseases (Roga).

Three pillars of Ayurvedic diagnostics.

In the Medical history you will be questioned in detail about your complaints, bodily functions, dietary and lifestyle habits as well as your mental state according to Ayurvedic systematics.

The Physical examination includes a traditional pulse palpation, tongue inspection, face analysis and skin inspection. Further examinations are carried out as required.

In the subsequent Evaluation It is important to recognise cause-effect relationships and to develop an Ayurvedic therapy strategy with concrete planning based on the pathogenesis.

Ayurvedic-diagnostic second opinion.

Play it safe.
Have you received recommendations on diet, lifestyle changes, taking Ayurvedic preparations or carrying out massages / manual therapies after a „constitution determination“ or as part of an Ayurvedic cure in India, Sri Lanka or Europe and these do not feel right? Or have you experienced an inexplicable deterioration after the treatment?

I will be happy to evaluate the diagnostic results and the therapy proposals of my colleagues based on them and explain my own assessment to you.
