High sensitivity
Understanding sensitive people and providing holistic support
HSP diagnostics at EURASIAMED
Our eight-fold diagnosis serves to precisely understand the causes and consequences, potentials and vulnerabilities, physical and psychological reaction patterns of your high sensitivity.
The origins and roots of high sensitivity lie in your innate constitution and your acquired experiences. We explore these in a personal dialogue and thus strengthen your biographical awareness of formative life events and high sensitivity.
In the next step, we take a detailed look at all external (sensory) and internal (psychological) stimuli that affect you quantitatively and qualitatively. Which senses are affected and how? Which thoughts, feelings, sensations and memories irritate you? How do you react to them?
We are born with some constitutional dispositions, while others develop over the course of our lives. In our constitutional analysis, we use models from Ayurveda (Vata, Pitta, Kapha - Sattva, Rajas, Tamas), the theory of nature and the ancient Greek fourfold theory of temperaments.
Most of the complaints that highly sensitive people suffer from are triggered or exacerbated by certain everyday situations and are directly related to their lifestyle. We analyse your daily habits, personal rhythms and social relationships.
We humans shape our living spaces - conversely, our living and working spaces have a lasting influence on our mental and physical well-being. Highly sensitive people react much more strongly to sensory spatial experiences. We analyse these relationships carefully.
Highly sensitive people have a significantly higher excitability of the autonomic nervous system and often suffer from tension, restlessness, nervous sweating, trembling, palpitations, shortness of breath, weakness or pain. We record all symptoms in our initial examination.
Hypersensitive reactions are often exacerbated by physical deficiencies or irritations. In order to be able to recognise and treat these, we carry out sensible and moderate laboratory analyses of blood, saliva, stool and/or urine. We will discuss which tests are suitable for you personally.
In our psychological diagnostics, we assess your mood, mental well-being and mental flexibility. Hypersensitivity can be the cause and consequence of anxiety disorders, depression and other mental disorders, which we enquire about at the outset.
HSP support at EURASIAMED
With our eight therapeutic measures, you will learn to distinguish between beneficial and stressful stimuli and to use your sensitivity sensibly in your private and professional environment.
One of the most important measures and challenges for hypersensitivity is your new, conscious approach to sensory stimuli. We make sure to avoid sensory overload and at the same time intensify contact with important and fulfilling experiences.
First of all, we develop a personalised sleep architecture, a daily rhythm that is appropriate to your stress levels and a healthy diet to provide you with the best possible care. The aim of your lifestyle modification is to master the environment while maximising your autonomy and personal growth.
