Why should we (regularly) take a cure?
Because our modern lifestyle leaves its mark.
Ralph and Corina Steuernagel | Spa management at EURASIAMED
Our diet is often unhealthy, we sleep irregularly, don't exercise enough, rush from appointment to appointment and hardly know how to regulate tension and manage social conflicts.
Caught in a vicious circle, we only function and slip into unhealthy habits.
Possible consequences are exhaustion, sleep disorders, inner restlessness, susceptibility to infections, weight gain, digestive problems, hormonal disorders, skin ageing and undesirable skin reactions.
We have developed individual cures for these problems.
In scheduled cure units of 7 to 28 days, you learn to be mindful of your current state and to be lovingly there for yourself - without distraction, without time pressure, without „performance”. You will cook daily according to instructions, live according to a structured daily treatment plan, cleanse your bowels, take care of your body, breathe and move in a targeted manner, find your personally optimised sleep architecture and address existing complaints therapeutically.
During your treatment, you will go into digital retreat and cannot be contacted by the outside world - apart from important people. You will be in daily dialogue with us about your personal Spa diary and our Video consultation.
All six cure programmes can be carried out as home cures in the comfort of your own home or at a location of your choice.

Q & A
Frequently asked questions from our spa guests
What distinguishes your programmes from inpatient cures?
After 12 years of inpatient spa work and 27 years of outpatient practice, we have realised that a) stationary programmes are reserved for only a few people with time and financial resources and b) Outpatient therapies with follow-up appointments every 4-6 weeks do not always deliver the desired results.
This is how our vision of outpatient cures came about: to provide everyone with holistic intensive treatment under professional supervision over a limited period of time in a home or at a desired retreat.
Through your proactive participation we achieve a lasting change in your lifestyle as a guarantee for a healthy and happy life. The aim of all cures is to restore your physical and mental balance - for more energy, joie de vivre and serenity.
A decisive factor for many is the amount of your health investment: depending on the facility, inpatient cures cost +/- €400 per day, while our outpatient programmes have a base price of less than €100. This means you save up to 80% while at the same time achieving a high level of effectiveness.
How do I find the right spa programme for me?
We will find out together which of our spa programmes is suitable for you personally during the preliminary consultation. Our selection is based on your current condition, the medical indication and the specific motivation for which you are seeking a spa break.
The recommended duration of the cure depends on our short goals and ranges from 7 days (S) to 14 (M) and 21 (L) to the maximum intensive cure of 28 days (XL). The most frequently booked programme is 14 days, during which we can already achieve many lasting effects.
Can I book a cure if I am not a patient at EURASIAMED?
No, unfortunately that is not possible. Our cures are not wellness programmes that can be booked via a catalogue. We take your physical and mental health into account and professionally coordinate all treatment measures according to your therapeutic needs.
We therefore require a complete admission to our practice for optimal treatment planning. We also recommend that you have already been undergoing treatment with us for at least three months so that we are familiar with each other. This significantly increases the success of your treatment.
If you are interested in a cure and are not yet a patient, book your first appointment here:
Can I take a cure together with my partner?
Yes, we even recommend this most of the time. Your cure can and should lead to profound changes, which are all the more sustainable if they are shared with your partner.
During your treatment together, it is important that you have opportunities to retreat. If you would like to take part in one of our spa programmes as a couple, simply contact us.
Who are my contacts and how do we communicate?
Your contacts are exclusively us, Ralph and Corina Steuernagel.
Ralph Steuernagel is your medical and psychological spa manager, with whom you select the spa programme in advance, experience daily visits and have the final consultation.
Corina Steuernagel is available to you as a coach and mentor as required and can be contacted via the SOS service daily from 8am to 10pm if necessary. As a skin expert at EURASIAMED, she also conducts visits in the CuraDerma programme and carries out special skin therapies in our practice.
We communicate in these ways:
- about our Online reception
- about our video consultation at Jameda
- by telephone on +49 (0)6173 99 879 21
- via WhatsApp at +49 (0)174 32 63 800
Where can I take the course?
Our cures are generally designed to be carried out at home. The familiar surroundings and the possibility of optimal catering according to your cure diet plan bring many advantages and, of course, considerable cost savings. It is also more intimate and hygienic to carry out detoxification procedures in your own bathroom.
In some cases, however, a retreat in nature can also be beneficial. We recommend this if you find it difficult to find peace and quiet at home, have difficulty separating yourself from work or family or don't feel so well for a cure. In this case, rent a holiday apartment in a quiet location of your choice: in the mountains, by the lake/sea or near a forest.
What does a typical spa day look like?
In contrast to conventional cures or retreats, we do not organise your day as a package, but tailor it to your individual needs. After each visit, you will receive a plan for the following day.
This flexibility starts with the time you get up. We may recommend breathing, movement and meditation exercises in the morning - but perhaps it is much more important for you to sleep in longer and regenerate.
The daily rhythm is synchronised with fixed meal times, which we coordinate with you. We attach great importance to your deep, restful sleep at a length that suits you.
In the mornings and afternoons, the programme includes cleansing or training measures, as well as body therapies, sauna, forest bathing, nature experiences and much more.
In the evening, you will keep your personal spa diary and we will meet for a ward round, during which we will record your current condition and plan together for the coming day.
Can I work during my cure?
This depends on our short-term goals on the one hand and your working conditions on the other.
If you are able to work from home for a maximum of four hours a day without too much excitement and pressure, this is possible by arrangement during your treatment.
However, we generally advise you to take time out from your everyday professional and private life. Create a space and framework for self-care in which you can gain profound insights into yourself. This requires peace, retreat and conscious inner reflection.
What additional costs can I expect on top of the basic price?
This is highly individual and depends on your wishes and needs.
The basic price does not include costs for spa medication (see below), course-specific equipment (e.g. syringes, bags and catheters for rectal enemas), additional consultations (e.g. acute care or psychotherapy) or therapeutic treatments (e.g. manual therapies).
Experience has shown that the cost of your personalised cure medication is between €50-80 per week. Most products last for 2-4 weeks in their original containers, so you can continue taking them after a one- or two-week cure.
We will be happy to provide you with an indicative cost estimate during the preliminary consultation:
Will my cure be reimbursed by private health insurance?
This is generally possible, at least pro rata. The basic price must be paid by bank transfer before the start of the cure. Additional services will be invoiced after completion of the cure.
We will then be happy to break down your invoice into individual fee codes according to the GebüH. You can then submit these to your private health insurance company. EURASIAMED accepts no responsibility for the amount of a possible reimbursement, which depends on the terms of your contract. It is important that your spa invoice includes services provided on an outpatient basis - therefore please refrain from submitting a request for a „spa reimbursement“ to your private health insurance company in advance, as this will be rejected.
What are the rebooking and cancellation conditions?
Rebooking to a new date is possible free of charge up to one week before the start of the course.
You can cancel your registration up to 14 days before the start of the course with a fee of 10% of your course price. 90% of your already paid course price will be refunded directly.
In the unlikely event of a necessary cancellation less than 14 days before the start of the course, you can arrange a new date after consultation with us. The basic price you have already paid will then be credited to the new treatment. A refund is not possible.
